Topias Lundell

 
The tenor Topias Lundell started his vocal MA studies at the in the Sibelius-Academy opera program in 2017. Lundell’s operatic roles include Male Chorus (Britten: The Rape of Lucretia), Tito (Mozart: La clemenza di Tito), Bardolfo (Verdi: Falstaff), Tom Snout (Britten: A Midsummernight's Dream) and Zefirino (Rossini: Il viaggio a Reims). Lundell’s current teacher is Seppo Ruohonen, and previously he has studied with Lasse Riutamaa, Erkki Rajamäki and Tom Nyman. Before engaging in his vocalstudies, Lundell studied music education at the Sibelius-Academy and jazz-violin at the Pop & Jazz Conservatory in Helsinki. Lundell has during several seasons been a member of the opera chorus at the Savonlinna Opera Festival. In the spring of 2019 he will perform in the role of Oronte in the production of Händel’s Alcina at the Sibelius-Academy.
