Minna-Leena Lahti is a soprano, church musician and a singing pedagogue from Kokkola, Ostrobothnia. She started her academic studies at the University in Oulu where she studied Finnish language. She also studied singing in Oulu with Raimo Niemikorpi and later with Anitta Ranta. Her vocal studies took her further to the Sibelius-Academy where she currently is involved in the opera master program with Hannu Niemelä as her vocal teacher. She has performed in several operatic roles Pamina (The Magic flute), Vitellia (La clemenza di Tito), Female Chorus (The Rape of Lucretia), Micaëla (Carmen) and Morgana (Alcina).
